Valmont Industries LEED/WELL Signage

Valmont's new 130,000 square foot headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska, was built to the requirements for WELL Building Certification. To highlight the energy achievement of the building, 4" and 10" aluminum "pucks" were created with printed acrylic inserts to showcase LEED/WELL throughout the building. On the 4" air pucks, QR codes were added so employees and visitors can monitor the air quality live. Overall the pucks were minimal on purpose to be cohesive with the design of the building. The clear acrylic gives a floating effect to the white icons and allows lighting to create natural shadowing effects.
